In 2022 We're Celebrating 84 Years in the Antelope Valley California!

CHECK CALENDAR for monthly events and what great dinners are coming up!

I would like to welcome you to our website. As the Exalted Ruler for 2022-2023, I have numerous activities planned. My motto for this year is “Elks Make A Difference”. With the planned activities, there are plenty of opportunities for our members to “Make A Difference”. As we have fundraisers for our charities, bringing a family member or friend is an opportunity to “Make A Difference”. This is one way to spread the word of Elkdom and show them who we are and what we do. Then invite them to become a member of Lancaster Elks Lodge #1625.
We serve our community in various ways. We are involved with Veterans and the “Pete Knight” Veterans Home in Lancaster. We involve ourselves with youth activities which, among other things, include Scholarships, Drug Awareness, Hoop Shoot, Halloween and Christmas Parties. We support our State’s Major Project which is “So the Children Can Walk, Talk, See and Play”. We support our local Fire and Police Depts in various ways. Then there is our National Philanthropic organization, Elks National Foundation, which has many ways to give back to the Lodges to help them support their community.
While on the website, check out the link to our Facebook Page below. You can also check our calendar for the various upcoming events. I do hope you will stop by our Lodge and check us out. We have members who will sign you in so you can experience for yourself what our facilities offer, and meet some of our members and officers.
The cardinal principles of our order are CHARITY, JUSTICE, BROTHERLY LOVE, and FIDELITY. These are the things we practice in our Lodge and our community. BPOE stands for Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. In over 20 years of being an Elk, I am proud of the accomplishments our Lodge has had in our community. As we have new members join our ranks, we learn new and/or different ways to serve our community and our Lodge.

Fraternally yours,
Marcy Simily
Exalted Ruler

Public Relations Our Public Relations Chairman this year is Bob Monaco. Officers and Committee Chairpersons who have things that need to be advertised and promoted need to submit them to Bob. His email address is bmonacoelks@gmail.com If you want to promote an event, function, or fundraiser, please forward the information to Bob so he can insure we get this information into the newspaper, on TV, on social media and into our website. If you have a flier or pictures, include them as they can be very useful in promoting who we are and what we do. Promoting Elkdom is a necessity. This is how the public knows who we are along with the work we do. It is also another way in which we can increase our Membership. Increasing our membership numbers is vital to the success of our Lodge.
