MILITARY OATH

"I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God."
FREEDOM

Freedom is a fragile thing and is never more than one generation away from extinction. It is not ours by inheritance; it must be fought for, and defended constantly by each generation, for it comes only once to a people. Those who have known freedom, then lost it, have never known it again." Ronald Reagan - 40th President of the United States of America.

Dictionaries for 3rd Grade students in the Antelope Valley

Over the past Elk year, April 06 to March 07, Ray and Jerry started a program named "Monday Noodle Night", whereby members and guests were treated to a great meal of pasta. This event went over with a BIG Bang.

Net profits went toward purchase of Dictionaries that have been and will continue to be given to all Antelope Valley 3rd Grade Students. Overall, between April 06 and March 07, over 4000 dictionaries and 4000 drug related materials were given to our children within our Valley. An extremely well done effort.

During our Tuesday Night meeting, our State Vice President Dominic Rotell PER, presented the State Award to both Ray and Jerry, who in turn, presented the Award to our Exalted Ruler A. "Hamp" Hampton PER for the Lodge.

Our fond congratulations and thanks to Ray and Jerry. Also thanks to all the volunteers that served our people, who bussed the tables, washed the pots and pans, as well as the dishes and silverware. What a cast!!
